The grassroots of education in a country are at the doorsteps of local wards where municipal schools play a key role in providing early instruction up to class V. These schools lay an important foundation for building the education system for the weaker sections of the society. It is at this level where the infusion of culture plays a key role in teaching them inclusiveness and tolerances, which is critical in building a strong society. As Routes 2 Roots spreads the light of cultural education across newer regions of the country and penetrates the education sector systematically, 1700 plus schools of MCD join the NGO’s program of learning performing arts. The students of the Delhi Municipal Corporation schools are now part of the family of crores of students benefitting from the cultural education program that has been declared as the largest one in the world. As part of the program they receive daily digital classes of 16 different disciplines of performing arts completely free of cost, from hand-picked gurus of the art forms, teaching the authentic legacy of classical gharanas and schools of the country. We welcome them to the Routes 2 Roots family and hope they will benefit from the program in the coming years and aid in enhancing their academic performance and overall development.
