In the spirit of cultural diversity, Routes 2 Roots continued its
mission of spreading cultural awareness and education through a wide
range of workshops across India. From classical dance to digital
education, the NGO’s efforts reached diverse regions, bringing
students closer to India’s rich and varied heritage.
Our cultural workshops have been a journey of diversity and
enrichment. In Rajasthan, Bharatnatyam workshops were conducted in
Alwar, Jaipur, Avikanagar, and Nasirabad, while Odissi dance
workshops inspired participants in Suratgarh, Nagaur, and Jodhpur.
Similarly, Odissi workshops reached new heights in West Bengal,
touching Bagdogra, Siliguri, Sukna, Bengdudi, Binaguri, Balurghat,
Malda, Alipurduar, and Farakka. Bihar witnessed the melodic charm of
Hindustani classical vocal workshops in places such as Khagaria,
Kahalgaon, Kishanganj, Araria, Saharsa, Samastipur, and Patna.
Meanwhile, the elegance of Kathak captivated audiences in Kharagpur,
Kolkata, Bamangachi, Santragachi, Salt Lake, Kalaikunda, and Salua
in West Bengal. These workshops have not just been about dance and
music, they have been about connecting with India's rich heritage
and diverse cultural traditions.
