Routes 2 Roots and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in collaboration with Centre for Cultural Resources and Training entered into a special tie-up to spread the glory and depth of Indian culture across the world through cultural education classes. After an amazingly successful pilot program of Kathak classes, which ran for 6 months, the NGO along with ICCR and CCRT started regular yearlong certified classes of dance forms such as Odissi, Bharatnatyam and Kathak in the first month of the New Year. The classes conducted by leading exponents of the dance forms have had record-breaking registrations of enthusiastic learners from 57 countries around the world including Sudan, Cyprus, Ireland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, Estonia, Ghana, Jamaica, South Korea, Japan, Qatar, South Africa, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Brazil, Spain, Belarus, Vietnam, Ivory Coast, New Zealand, Kuwait, Algeria, Thailand, Lebanon, Italy, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Guyana, Guatemala, Finland, USA, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Peru, Angola, Tunisia, Morocco, China, Venezuela, Namibia, Armenia, Fiji, Colombia, Denmark, Cote d’lvoire, Damascus, Chile, Tanzania, Zambia, Bulgaria, Russia and Argentina. Attended in full strength by people of different nationalities, the live, interactive sessions conducted digitally are bringing massive value and joy to people who are keen to learn Indian art forms globally.
