Art Pours Through India’s Schools with Routes 2 Roots Monsoon Workshops

Workshops of Classical music and dance in July conducted by Routes 2 Roots gurus from different states of India were attended by thousands of students in schools. These were welcomed along with the rains after the summer heat. Students learnt art forms and watched enthralling performances of their gurus during these educational sessions. Hindustani Classical Vocal music workshops were held in Akhnoor, Jammu, Rahyasuchani, Miran Sahib, Jyotipuram, Samba and Lakhanpur across Jammu and Kashmir. Odissi workshops were conducted by the guru in Telangana’s Gachibowli, Bolaram, Kanchanbagh, Hakimpet, Bodhan, Ramagundam, Karimnagar and Mahabubabad. Hyderabad schools saw Kathak workshops in Waltair, Vishakhapatnam, Nausenabaugh, Vizianagaram, Sattenapalli, Tenali, Machilipatnam, Ongole and Rajampalli.
